1、Brief introduction
All electrical equipment imported and sold in Australia must be proven to be electrically safe. All equipment listed as declared electrical equipment must have SAA certification before being sold in Australia. SAA certificate indicates the equipment can be safely operated and used by the persons. A SAA certificate is issued for a maximum period of five years. Consumers can online validate if the equipment has SAA certificate via website https://equipment.erac.gov.au/Public.
